Injectable antibiotic – Sterile
Active Ingredients :
- Base Gentamicin (Gentamicin sulfate) – 8g
- Inert ingredients q. s – 100ml
Indications:
- Infectious processes caused by germs that are sensitive to gentamicin, septicemias, polyarthritis, metritis, pneumonias, infectious diarrheas (salmonellosis), urinary tract infections, etc.
Dosage and administration:
- Dosage is of 6,6mg/kg/day every 24 hours, with only one application a day. For a week old foal or a premature foal, reduce the dose by half. In the case of metritis, dilute 2 – 3g with 250cc of warm physiological salt solution and administer once a day for 3 – 5 days by intrauterine administration. Administration: Endovenous, eventually intramuscular.
