LACRILON
PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL PROPERTIES
LACRILON, is a NATURAL BIOPOLIMER (molecular weight 35,000-45,000 Daltons, dynamic viscosity 20 cps), ultrapurified by the original procedure, which ensures its stability (it remains 2 years at room temperature) and together with the adequate balance of its SULFATOS groups, maximizes its BIOTERAPEUTIC action.
BIOTERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES
Sulphated glycosaminoglycans (Chondroitin Sulfate A and C, Keratán Sulfato), are the main extracellular components (MATRIX) of the articular cartilage. Due to their high anionic charge (-) and molecular weight, they are highly hydrophilic (elasticity), interacting with cations (+) of different nature; (glycoproteins, enzymes, collagen, etc.) which gives them their wide biological activity.
BIODISPONIBILITY
LACRILON, from its point of INTRAMUSCULAR inoculation; it is released slowly, having positive (+) trophism towards the fibrocartilaginous tissue, it is deposited selectively in the articular cartilage, detecting in it the significant concentrations (2-7 ug / g of tissue) from 1 day to 4 - 8 days post -application; contributing to the glycosaminoglycan pool of the matrix and exerting its pharmacological action (CONDROPROTECCION-CONDROREPARACION).
BIOSINETIC STIMULATION CONDROREPARATION (more evident in altered cartilage)
LACRILON acts on the macromolecular organization of the cartilage, INDUCES THE FORMATION OF MATRIX by the CONDROCITE. It favors COLAGENOGENESIS; mainly type II fiber (larger) (ALSO ACTING IN TENDONES). Stimulates the formation of PROTEOGLYCAN complexes of higher molecular weight (more efficient).
CONDROPROTECTION / OSTEOGENESIS
LACRILON diminishes the osteolytic process, increases the total calcium pool, its intestinal absorption and bone deposition.
BLOCK OF LIQUID ENZYMES from articular cartilage (collagen, elastase, proteoglycanase, metalloprotease, etc).
ANTIOXIDANT: Prevents lipid peroxidation, stabilizing cell membranes
ANTI-INFLAMMATORY: Blocks the autocoids (cellular mediators of inflammation).

1 Dosage of 5 ml (600 mg) every 4-7 days
Tendinous pathologies
5 Dose in total, or more, according to criteria
