Mucolitic, expectorant and antitussive
Ambroxol is a mucolytic, expectorant and antitussive metabolite of Bromhexine with a stronger action than the last. It reduces the mucus viscosity by producing the depolymerization of sialomucins. It can be administered alone or associated with bronchodilators and antibiotics such as Penicillin, Ampicilin and Gentamicine.
INDICATIONS
Its use is indicated in all cases of productive cough with hypersecretion involving the upper/or and lower respiratory system.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
0,3 mg /kg body weight (6 mL/100 kg body weight)
IV; twice a day
CONTRAINDICATIONS
There are no contraindications due its wide safety margin.
WARNING
Keep the product in a clean, dry place between 4º and 30º C and out of children's reach
Don't apply on pregnant mares.
Veterinary use.
