Sterile anesthetic solution of Phenylbutazone 20 %. Non-corticoid anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic.
Composition
Component Quantity
Phenylbutazone sodium 2 gr.
Double distilled water q.s. 100 ml.
Indications
Non-corticoid anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic for the treatment of muscular-skeletal disorders on sport horses.
Treatment of choice for acute laminitis. Arthritis, spondylitis, tendinitis, synovitis, bursitis, rheumatism. Antipyretic for viral diseases.
Route of administration
Slow intravenous or intramuscular injection, depending on the animal.
Dosage
Except otherwise prescribed by vet, administer: 10 to 20 ml/day, during 5 days via slow intravenous injection.
Precautions and contraindications
Do not administer to animals allergic to the active ingredient.
Do not combine with werfarin or sulfamides.
Do not use when digestive ulcers, coagulation disorders, heart, kidney or liver malfunctions are suspected or when the thyroid is affected.
In inflammatory processes associated with infections, additional chemotherapy is needed.
The response to the treatment with NORMALIZADOR is normally fast, and if no significant improvement is observed in 5 days, reconsider diagnostic and treatment.
Use restrictions
Do not administer to animals for human consumption.
